Montana Beef

Swanson’s Mountain View Orchard has been growing apples in the heart of Montana’s Bitterroot Valley for generations. In keeping with our commitment to quality, stewardship, and community, we’ve expanded into something new — apple and grass-fed beef.

Our beef program is managed by Kendall and Ryan Mouw, combining their passion for land stewardship and local food with the rich resources of our family farm. The cattle are brought in from trusted regional partners and raised with care on our orchard pastures, where they enjoy a diet of Montana grasses, apples, and a carefully selected grain finish.

Everything we do is rooted in our mission to provide honest, flavorful food from our family to yours. Whether we’re growing apples or raising cattle, we believe in doing things the right way: humanely, sustainably, and always with quality in mind.

Quarter Beef Deposit: $250

Half Beef Deposit: $500

• $7.99/lb — Local Pickup at Bar MW Meats
• $8.99/lb — Delivered*, processed by Hamilton Packing Company

Price includes local processing and is based on hang weight. Deposit required to secure your order.

We will begin accepting deposits in January. We accept cash, check or Venmo. The remaining balance is due at pickup (hang weight minus deposit).

*Delivery available to select out-of-state locations depending on route. Please inquire to confirm availability.

The quarter-beef is half the half-beef amount and doesn’t include tri-tip.
