Swanson’s Mountain View Orchard has been a cornerstone of Montana’s Bitterroot Valley, producing some of the region’s finest apples. Now, we’re proud to expand our commitment to sustainability and quality with a new offering: apple and grass-fed Angus beef.

This program is led by Kendall and Ryan Mouw, two dedicated individuals with a passion for sustainable farming and exceptional flavor, under Mooi Farms. Every step of the process, from pasture to plate, is guided by the values of our orchard and the desire to serve our community with premium, local products.

We believe in doing things the right way—raising cattle humanely, feeding them with care, and producing high-quality beef that families can trust.

For years, our orchard has provided delicious apples to families across Montana, grown with the utmost care and dedication to the land. Now, we’ve extended that care to our Angus steers, raised on lush, orchard-fed pastures and finished with grain for exceptional flavor and marbling.

Every steer is raised with attention to detail and processed locally, ensuring that every cut of beef you enjoy reflects our passion for quality and sustainability.

Quarter Beef Deposit: $250

Half Beef Deposit: $500

Price includes local processing.

We accept cash, check or Venmo. The full payment is to be received on the date of the scheduled pickup (Total Weight minus the deposit).

The quarter-cow is half the half-cow amount and doesn’t include tri-tip.
